PLEASE NOTE: we have limited parking spaces, and we strongly recommend you purchase a parking pass in advance to avoid missing out.

Quick links from London - 3 stations to choose from...

The closest station to festival is Stevenage (view route map). Its just 22mins from London Kings Cross on the train and a short 10 minute taxi ride to the festival.

Alternatively there are two stations in Hertford (with direct links to London) that are both only a 15min Taxi ride to the festival...

Arrival & Entry FAQ

do you have a site map?
We are working on the new festival and will bring this to you ASAP.
What are the set times?
We will let you know around two or 3 days before the festival begins.
What is the age limit?
Strictly 18 and over. Valid photo ID will be required on arrival (an in-date: passport, UK driving licence or anything with your photo on bearing the PASS hologram logo. We cannot accept student/work IDs).

RE-ENTRY?
You can re-enter the festival yes, but only up until 11pm. Please note: no additional alcohol will be allowed in campsite upon re-entry.
Do I need to bring my ticket print out?
Yes please! This will speed up yours and everyone else’s entry. Tickets can be scanned from your phone also – please ensure the brightness is turned all the way up on your phone and the ticket is ready to be scanned when you reach the front.
Can I get a refund?
Sadly no, unless an event is cancelled, ALL tickets are non-refundable, non-exchangeable and non-transferable.
Will my bag be searched?
Yes, we will be searching all bags upon entry at the gate. Any prohibited items will be confiscated and you may be refused entry at our discretion.
Can I bring alcohol?
The festival site is a licensed venue so only alcohol purchased on site can be consumed within it. However if you are camping, you may bring 8 cans of normal strength beer or cider, or 1 normal box of wine. All must be in unopened original sealed containers. Strictly no spirits or glass. These are allowed on one entrance only and you won’t be able to leave site to get more alcohol.
What is your drugs Policy?
We have a zero tolerance policy on the use of, or the dealing in, illegal drugs on site, including legal highs. Drug enforcement laws are applicable on this site and SIA security is on site to deal with drug offences in accordance with national guidelines. If you deal in drugs, you will be arrested.

Amnesty bins will be provided for you to dispose of any illegal drugs safely before you reach the search facility.
Do I need a carpark pass?
If you intend to drive and park, you will need a parking pass - we have a limited number of spaces, so its strongly advisable to purchase one in advance to avoid disappointment. Passes can be purchased here

If you are intending on bringing a campervan, you will need to purchase a specific campervan ticket, here
How far is the carpark from the festival?
It's only a 1 minute walk across from the main festival site.


MAIN FESTIVAL FAQ

Will you be using tokens at the festival?
Yes. All drinks can only be purchased via drinks tokens. Token booths will be dotted around the site at various bars - keep an eye out for the signs! Cash or card payments can be used to purchase these tokens on the day.

Please note: Due to logistical reasons we cannot refund any tokens, so please make sure to purchase only what you need...

VIP - Please note we will have a slightly different selection of drinks at the VIP bar - payment can be made via cash / card or tokens.
Do you have card machines on site?
Due to the nature of the site we cannot provide cash machines, please ensure you bring enough with you as not all of our vendors will accept card payments. Our bars work on token systems, and you can use cash or card to purchase tokens.
Are you using special cups?
We are going to be using our hard plastic, branded cups (rather than cheap throwaway plastic) for serving drinks. This is much better for drinking from and more importantly, the environment.

Each cup will carry a £1 deposit. This can be refunded at the end of the day, or feel free to take your cup home as a nice memory :)
ARE THERE MEDICAL FACILITIES?
Yes. Should you feel unwell, you can find our First Aid and Welfare tent *IN THIS PLACE*. You can speak to any member of staff or security for assistance.
Is there disabled access and facilities?
Due to the nature of the site (being uneven and on a slight hill etc) we have limited disabled facilities (disabled toilets). Please email us for specifics if you’re still keen however, as we do offer a carers ticket.


CAMPING FAQ

Can I camp?
Yes, the festival now runs over two days and we have multiple options (including a new boutique camping experience) on our tickets page

Do I bring my own tent?
Yes, you must supply and pitch your own tent - you are also responsible for all your own rubbish and leaving the campsite as you found it.
Can I bring a campervan?
If you are intending on bringing a campervan, you will need to purchase a specific campervan ticket, here
Can I bring alcohol in if I’m camping?
Yes but there is a limit due to licensing. 8 cans of normal strength beer or cider or 1 normal box of wine. All in unopened original sealed containers.

Strictly no spirts or glass. Limits allowed on one entrance only. Sorry folks this due to new licensing. Please note: if you leave the site, no additional alcohol will be allowed in campsite upon re-entry.
Can I light a fire or have naked flames onsite?
Strictly no naked flames, gas canisters or related items.
What time do I have to leave the day after the festival?
All campers must please leave the premises by 1pm.

FESTIVAL TERMS & CONDITIONS

Liability

The festival site / carpark and other areas are in some cases uneven. Please take care when moving around the site. Management is not liable for any injury caused onsite or around the close vicinity of the festival.

TICKETS
All tickets advertised on the BACK OF BEYOND website are sold through third party ticket providers. Please see their respective websites for full details.

Refunds: Sorry: unless an event is cancelled, ALL tickets are non-refundable, non-exchangeable and non-transferable.

In the unlikely event of an event being cancelled, ticket refunds will be issued automatically to the account of which you purchased your tickets.

BACK OF BEYOND / DRY Events Ltd reserve the right to alter the line-up to any advertised events without any prior notice. An alteration to the event line-up does not constitute a cancellation and would not entitle you to a refund under these circumstances.

For any other tickets purchased at other outlets, please go back to the point of purchase for a refund.

Last entry will be strictly 11pm.

BACK OF BEYOND Festival is a licensed premises. For 18+ events, we require ALL patrons to provide valid, in-date photo ID. Acceptable forms are: passport, UK driving license or UK provisional license, or a UK Citizenship Card only. Other forms of ID will not permit you entry to the event.

EVICTION POLICY
Any individual in breach of the festival rules or committing offences within the site will be removed from site by the security staff.

Unacceptable behaviour that can lead to an eviction includes, but is not limited to:

- Illegal activity
- Breaching terms and conditions of entry
- Failing to submit to a search upon entry to the site
- In possession of unlawful drugs
- Offensive behaviour
- Throwing of objects in the direction of people
- Encouraging others to behave badly
- Preventing our security or emergency services reacting to a situation
- Any fire in the campsite

Back Of Beyond take evicting very seriously, any persons presented for evection will be interviewed by Security at the Security Control Room. All their details will be recorded with their full personal details, date time and reason for eviction.

Should any individual commit offences in law, the Police will be summoned and information laid before them with regard to the actions of the individual; where possible this will include details of the victim, the nature of the offence, detailed information relating to the location of the incident; for more serious offences a member of security will be used to guard the scene until the arrival of appropriate Police staff.

All evictees will be able to make a free telephone call if they do not have a mobile phone in order to make contact with their group and/or family. Evictees will need to phone a friend on site to collect their belongings before their eviction as they themselves will not be permitted back into the event site.

No individual will be ejected where there is a clear duty of care to the individual. If there is cause for doubt, the individual will be held at the Security Control Room until transport arrangements can be made to transport the individual in a safe and appropriate manner.
GENERAL
The festival site is a licensed venue so only alcohol purchased on site can be consumed within it.

NO NAKED FLAMES permitted across the site. This includes cooking stoves/BBQ's etc. We apologise as this is set by the authorities.

Entry to the event, all activities at the event, purchase and use of tickets are subject to these Conditions. These Conditions may be amended without prior notice.

You will be searched at the entrance for any items that can be used in an illegal or offensive manner - these will be confiscated immediately.

Persons suspected of carrying out illegal and/or offensive activities on the festival site will be searched and face eviction.

NO portable laser equipment or pens are permitted.

All persons may be asked for ID and will not be served alcohol if ordered without proof of age of over 18 years. Challenge 25 will be implemented.

NO animals (except registered guide dogs), sound systems, generators, sky lanterns or kites, fireworks, canisters or wax flares, naked flames or burning of plastic will be allowed on the festival site.

Anti-social behaviour any people affecting the enjoyment of other attendees and/or affecting the running of the event will be immediately ejected by security.

The site is a glass free zone. Any glass will be confiscated on arrival.

Wristbands removed or tampered with will be invalid and will not be replaced.

CCTV will be present. All persons on site consent to filming.

The site management reserve the right to refuse admission or to eject attendees from the event without reimbursement of ticket price or other costs.

The site management reserve the right to cancel the event without notice.

The site management exclude liability for loss, injury or damage to persons or property except in respect of death or personal injury resulting from its own negligence.

The site management reserve the right to change the services provided and any other aspects of the event without notice.

ALL persons will use the premises in a proper and lawful manner and not so as to cause any nuisance, annoyance or inconvenience to other persons on site or neighbouring properties, or to render void or voidable any insurance in whole or in part. This will be monitored by the site Manager.
